Team 75, the RoboRaiders, is the High School FIRST Robotics Competition team from Hillsborough, New Jersey. Composed of a diverse group of students, mentors, alumni, and parents, Team 75 works to take part in annual FRC competitions. Team 75 is the oldest active FIRST team in New Jersey, and since its inception in 1996, has won a variety of awards, including Regional Champions, National Excellence in 3-D Design, and the prestigious Chairman's Award. During the off-season, Team 75 participates in a variety of community service efforts, including demonstrations, car washes, bake sales, adopting troops, donating to a school in Botswana, and more to help benefit the local and surrounding communities.
Team 75 reaches beyond the borders of New Jersey, and the U.S. by providing relief efforts for areas affected by natural disasters, as well as starting other FRC teams. Most recently, the team started working with Operation Shoebox initiative; they send boxes every month to a troop stationed in Afghanistan, 367 MP Co. The War Pigs.
Since 1996, Team 75 has been extremely committed to the mission of FIRST, and goes to great lengths to spread awareness of science and technology within the community. Team 75 is dedicated to developing a sustainable, year-round FIRST team that brings together a diverse body of students, parents, and mentors for a fun and inspirational learning experience in engineering and teamwork.
