This year, we started our tech-only FRC Team 428 which learns and grows alongside Team 75 in our warehouse. We provided a platform for 36 underclassmen to build their own robot while including them in Team 75’s outreach and business efforts. Team 75 students mentor the new team, helping 428 address challenges while building their programming, mechanical, and electrical skills. Through our mentoring, Team 75 students improve their leadership and communication skills, becoming more self-assured. This program allows Team 428 students to more confidently join Team 75, building a stronger foundation for both teams.
